Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com) – The Port St. Lucie Police Department is crediting K9 Ronin for the capture of a burglary suspect early Monday morning.

Here’s the scoop from PSLPD:
While you were sleeping….K9 Ronin was busy capturing early morning burglary suspect!
At 4am, PSLPD responded to the 4800-BLK of NW Irrington Ave regarding a 911 call from an alert resident who observed a suspect burglarizing vehicles in the neighborhood. Officers immediately responded to the area and set a perimeter.
It didn’t take long for K9 Ronin and his partner Officer Gibbins to track and locate the suspect hiding in a backyard with stolen items in his possession.
The 17-year-old male suspect is now facing several burglary charges and will be taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice. Detectives continue to investigate the suspect’s burglary spree at this time.
Great job to K9 Ronin and all involved in the quick apprehension of this suspect!
