PSLPD investigating crash on Gatlin Blvd
Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com) -Port St. Lucie Police are still investigating yesterday’s crash that occurred on SW Gatlin Blvd. involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the driver of the motorcycle was traveling west on SW Gatlin Blvd approaching the intersection of SW Brighton Street at the same time a red Kia was traveling east on SW Gatlin Blvd approaching SW Brighton Street. The driver of the Kia stated she was turning left onto SW Brighton Street from Gatlin Blvd. and the rear of her vehicle was still in the outside westbound lane of SW Gatlin Blvd when the motorcycle struck the rear side door of her vehicle.
The driver of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet and was taken to Lawnwood Medical Center as a trauma patient. The motorcycle driver is in critical condition.
