PSLPD investigating BB Gun Shootings

Port St. Lucie, Fl- Port St Lucie police are investigating two incidences where someone was shot with a BB gun. The latest incident occurred Sunday afternoon near Thornhill Drive and Whitmore Drive. Police say a male victim was riding his bicycle when he was shot three times by a passenger inside of a car. The suspect shot from the car passenger window striking the victim in two areas of his body. The passenger and the driver are both described as black males approximately fifteen to seventeen years old. The suspects’ fled in possibly a 2017 black Toyota Corolla with lightly tinted windows.

Police are investigating a  similar incident that occurred on November 15th, when a man says he was shot with a BB gun while driving near Veterans Memorial Parkway. Police say the two incidents are possibly related. Anyone with information is asked to call Treasure Coast Crimestoppers at 1-800-273-TIPS.

On November 17, 2019, Police went to the area of SE Thornhill Drive/ SE Whitmore Drive for reports of a shooting involving a BB gun. Police learned at around 1:18 pm the male victim was riding his bicycle when he was shot at four times, however was struck three times by a passenger inside of the suspect car. The suspect shot from the car passenger window striking the victim in two areas of his body. Both suspects (driver and passenger) are described as two black males approximately fifteen – seventeen years old. The passenger suspect was wearing a black shirt at the time of the incident. The suspects’ fled in a 2017 black Toyota Corolla with lightly tinted windows.

Police are also investigating a similar incident that occurred on November 15, 2019, where a male victim alleged, he was shot with a BB gun while he was driving in the area of Veterans Memorial Parkway, in Port St Lucie. The two incidents are possibly related. The victims sustained minor injuries.
