PSLPD investigating 3 separate incidents involving anti-Semitic/racially charged letters.
Port St Lucie, Fla-The Port Saint Lucie Police is investigating 3 separate incidents that are anti-semetic and racially charged.
On Thursday, February 1st, 2018 at approximately 10:00 am, Port Saint Lucie Police Officers responded to 551 SW Bethany Drive (Temple Beth El Israel Synagogue) to a report of a suspicious letter that was found taped to the entrance of the synagogue. The letter contained anti-Semitic comments.
Later the same morning a hate filled poster was taped to an electrical pole. A Code Compliance Specialist found it near the intersection of SE Floresta Drive and SE Chaloupe Avenue.
On Friday, February 2nd, 2018, at approximately 7:30 am, another Code Compliance Specialist found 2 racially charged, hate filled posters on separate poles near the intersection of SE Floresta Drive and SE Evergreen Terrace.
All 3 of these incidents are currently being investigated by the Port Saint Lucie Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. Anyone with information about these incidents should contact the Port Saint Lucie Police Department.
