Port St.Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Port St Lucie Police have reported they have arrested a drunk driver after backing into a patrol car during a traffic stop.

Drunk Driver Arrested after Backing into Patrol Vehicle on Traffic Stop

Early this morning Officers observed this white Kia swerving all over the roadway and occupying two lanes on SW Gatlin Blvd. The driver then proceeded to strike a curb while being pulled over. As our Officer was exiting his vehicle and still standing in the doorway, the Kia began to reverse and backed into the patrol vehicle’s front push bumper.
The 24-year-old female driver was arrested for driving under the influence and taken to the St. Lucie County Jail.
