Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Port St. Lucie Police reported they made three DUI arrests in 48 hours.

PSLPD Officers continue to protect our roadways from individuals who choose to operate their vehicle while under the influence. 3 drivers were arrested for DUI over the weekend.
Beginning on Saturday night, Officers responded to SW Gatlin Blvd and SW Savona Blvd in reference to a concerned citizen who observed a black truck swerving and striking curbs. Officers located the vehicle and arrested the 24-year-old driver from Ft. Pierce for driving under the influence. Two open Corona beer cans were found in the vehicle.
Yesterday afternoon, Officers responded to SW Bayshore Blvd in reference to a hit and run crash. A truck towing a lawn trailer struck another vehicle, fled the scene, and then hit multiple mailboxes and a parked vehicle. Officers found the truck and trailer on SW Grove Ave and arrested the 30-year-old driver from Port St. Lucie for driving under the influence, having no driver’s license, and leaving the scene of a crash. An open Corona beer can was found inside the truck.
Lastly at 2am this morning, Officers observed a blue SUV traveling southbound in the northbound lanes on SW Bayshore Blvd. Officers pulled the vehicle over and arrested the 41-year-old driver for driving under the influence. A 12 pack of Truly’s with one open can was found inside the vehicle.
