PSL woman hits boyfriend with car
Port St Lucie, Fl- A man is hospitalized, but expected to survive, after his girlfriend struck him with her car following a domestic argument, according to Port St. Lucie police.
It happened in the 1900 block of W. Dunbrooke Circle.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 22-year-old female was having an argument with her 24-year-old live-in boyfriend. During the argument the man got out of the car that the female was driving and started walking down the street. The female driver drove down the street and dropped her baby off at their house. The female then drove back to where the male was walking and her car struck the man.
The impact of the crash was so intense it sent the man flying 35 yards down the street.
The victim sustained severe head trauma and was air lifted to Lawnwood Medical Center.
He was undergoing surgery late Wednesday afternoon.
Police did not identify either person but said the investigation continues.
