PSL woman drives car into Cuban Restaurant

Port St. Lucie– 44 year old PSL women drove her car into El Cubanito Restaurant; no one was injured.

On March 10th, 2019, Port St Lucie Police investigated a car crash involving forty-four-year-old Port St. Lucie resident (Stacey Howe) drove her car into El Cubanito Restaurant, causing extensive damage to the business.

On March 10th, 2019 at around 9:05pm, Port St. Lucie Police went to 1660 SE Port St. Lucie Boulevard for reports of a car crashed into the front of El Cubanito Restaurant. Upon arrival, Police learned that a female subject drove her 2015 white Toyota Corolla through the parking lot, jumped the sidewalk curb, and ultimately crashed into the front glass of the business. The car ended up completely inside of the restaurant. Four employees were inside of the restaurant at the time of the crash and no injuries were reported.

The driver of the car explained she was attempting to park the car in front of the restaurant when she accidentally pressed on the gas pedal and drove into the business. The driver was cited for careless driving. No injuries were reported. No fire or gas leaks.
