PSL Woman charged with running over boyfriend

Port St Lucie, Fl- On June 8, 2018, Port St. Lucie Police arrested 22 year old Stetya Erley Jean-Baptiste on outstanding warrants obtained in this case for DWLS or without a license with serious injury, Reckless Driving causing serious bodily injury, and Aggravated Battery with a deadly weapon. Jean-Baptiste was booked in to the St. Lucie County Jail on $75,000.00 bond.

Port St. Lucie police are investigating a domestic disturbance in the 1900 block of SE W. Dunbrooke Circle. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 22-year-old female was having an argument with her live-in boyfriend 24-year-old male. During the argument the man got out of the car that the female was driving and started walking down the street. The female driver drove down the street and dropped her baby off at their house. The female then drove back to where the male was walking and her car struck the man. The victim sustained severe head trauma and was air lifted to Lawnwood Medical Center. This is an ongoing investigation.
