Earlier this week we shared with you how PSLPD Detectives were looking for 26-year-old Devante Durham because he was wanted on 72 charges for targeting women at local grocery stores by stealing their wallets out of shopping carts and then using the stolen credit cards to fraudulently purchase thousands of dollars in gift cards. Shockingly in one case…Durham even stole an elderly woman’s wallet from her motorized scooter.
Thanks to assistance from PBSO – Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Durham was arrested yesterday evening in Palm Beach County and is now facing additional charges for similar incidents that occurred in South Florida.
Great job to all involved in the joint effort to apprehend this suspect!
