PSl Police investigating armed robbery at TD Bank.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’1” tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, wearing a long sleeve button up shirt, light blue jeans, Patriots red and white ball cap, blackish grey tennis shoes with yellow stripes, blue face mask, armed with a black handgun.

On June 11, 2016 at around 7:40 am, Port St. Lucie Police went to the 400 block of SE Port St. Lucie Boulevard  for reports of a bank robbery at TD Bank.  Preliminary reports revealed that as an employee was entering the bank, a gunman approached and knocked the employee to the ground as he forced his way inside.

The robber physically battered the employee by knocking her to the ground and then escorted her inside the bank.  While inside the bank the suspect encountered a second employee who was already inside.  At gunpoint, the suspect forced the employees to give him cash from the bank..  After receiving the money the robber fled the scene.  It is unknown if he left the area on foot or if he had a get-away car nearby..
