PSL Police investigating an armed robbery involving two black male suspects

Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Port St. Lucie Police   are investigating an armed robbery that involved two black male.

During the late evening hours of Sunday February 23, 2020, at around 8:25 pm, police responded to the 2100 Block of SW Venus Street for reports of an armed robbery.

Police learned the victim was out walking his dog when a vehicle abruptly stopped in the middle of the road. Two unknown black male suspects exited what appeared to be a small older model (approximately 15-20-years old) white compact car. The two suspects ran up to the victim (about a foot from his person) and demanded the victim’s wallet and anything he may have in his pockets as they pointed their arms out as if they were armed with guns. The victim did not see the male suspects armed with any guns during the encounter.

The victim told the suspects he did not have anything on him and for them to get away from him. The two black male suspects then ran back to the vehicle and fled the area northbound on SW Venus Street toward an unknown direction. No reported injuries and no items were stolen from the victim. This investigation is ongoing.

Suspect #1 Black Male, approximately 6’02, between 18-22 years old.
