Priest charged in road rage gets one year probation
Martin County, Fla (TreasureCoast.com)- A priest charged in a road rage incident has been sentenced to one year of probation.
35-year old William Rian Adams plead guilty to a lesser charge of improper display of a firearm.
Authorities initially arrested Adams on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on July 5th in Martin County.
Two people in another car said Adams pointed a gun at them during a road rage encounter on I-95. Adams was driving a red Corvette.
He said he worked as a priest in North Carolina.
Adams must also have no firearms in his possession during his probation, pay court costs and fees and $1,000 in restitution to the victims.
