Fort Pierce, Fl (treasurecoast.com)-A Port St. Lucie woman was arrested following a string of break-ins in Fort Pierce.

ONE ARRESTED FOLLOWING A STRING OF FORT PIERCE BURGLARIES

On September 22, 2022, around 7:30 p.m., Fort Pierce Police Department Officers responded to the 1000 Block of Beach Court in reference to a burglary complaint. Once on scene, officers learned that 25-year-old Zykhirea Wyatt broke into the victim’s home and fled the scene.
On September 23, 2022, around 8:30 a.m., Officers responded to several other burglaries between the 500 and 1800 Block of Indian River Drive. While patrolling, officers were given Wyatt’s description and were able to locate her and make an arrest.
Following an interview at the police department, Wyatt admitted to committing multiple residential and vehicle burglaries on Indian River Drive. She also admitted to committing a few other burglaries on Beach Court and South 9th Street weeks before being arrested.
Wyatt is currently being held in Saint Lucie County Jail on multiple felony charges.
