On September 3, 2016 at around 11:55 am, Port St. Lucie Police went to 1790 SW Gatlin Boulevard for reports of a bank robbery at Seacoast National Bank.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a man walked into the bank and approached one of the three tellers present in the bank. The suspect handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller passed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash drawer to the suspect. The suspect then left the bank and it is unknown if he fled the area on foot or if he had a get-away car nearby. None of the tellers or the 3-4 customers in the bank were harmed during the incident
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, wearing a short sleeve blue t-shirt, white or light cargo shorts, and dark colored tennis shoes with orange shoe laces. No weapon was displayed by the suspect or seen by the witnesses.
