Port St. Lucie Police investigating hit and run car vs. pedestrian

 

Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- On Sunday, November 10, 2019 at around 7:15 pm, Port St. Lucie Police went to the 2400 block of SW Chestnut Lane, PSL for reports of a hit and run car vs pedestrians. Once on scene police learned a sixteen-year-old female victim was one of the pedestrians. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries to her head and was airlifted to a nearby hospital. The other pedestrian was a fourteen-year-old male victim who sustained minor injuries/lacerations to his leg and was transported to a nearby hospital.  Both juveniles were hospitalized for observations.

The suspect vehicle fled the scene northbound at the 2400 block of SW Chestnut Lane. It struck the parked car and the juveniles, while both juveniles were standing near the parked car.

The suspect vehicle was described to police as a red older model Ford Escape SUV, with an unknown tag and possible damage to the passenger side front end and headlight. Police collected debris from the suspect car found at the scene, possibly belonging to the described suspect car.
