Port St. Lucie Police asking people to evacuate homes within a block radius of SE Sandia Dr and SE Crosspoint Dr because of a suspicious package
Port St. Lucie, Fll (treasurecoast.com)- Port St. Lucie Police are asking people to evacuate their homes within a block radius of SE Sandia Dr and SE Crosspoint Dr.
At approximately 4:10pm, PSLPD stopped a vehicle at SE Sandia Dr and SE Crosspoint Dr. Officers located a suspicious item inside the vehicle and contacted the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Disposal Team for assistance. The driver of the vehicle is in police custody at this time.
A perimeter has been established and houses have been evacuated in the immediate area. If you reside within a block radius of SE Sandia Dr and SE Crosspoint Dr, it is recommended you evacuate your residence. There will be a heavy police presence until further notice, please avoid the area.
