Port St Lucie Police arrest four females from Belle Glade/Pahokee for thefts in Port St Lucie/Fort Pierce
Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- On December 16, 2020 Port St Lucie Police Officers responded to 9000 S US Hwy 1 (Walgreens) in reference to a retail theft, who had just stolen various miscellaneous items from the cosmetics section. The four females wearing shower caps selected anti-aging cream, exfoliation creams, shampoo items and miscellaneous body washes totaling $753.62.
Suspect information was gathered and disseminated to local agencies. Walgreens also sent their own internal bulletin. Deputies stopped a vehicle matching the description at US1/Virginia Ave. Port St Lucie Police Detectives arrived on scene to interview the four females who were ultimately arrested for Retail Theft. Charges were also filed by the Fort Pierce Police Department in connection to a theft in their jurisdiction.
Port St. Lucie Police Detectives learned the four females were also connected to thefts at three additional Walgreens located in Port St Lucie. Similar items were taken at those locations. Walgreens 1661 St. Lucie West Blvd, Walgreens 1025 SE Port St Lucie Blvd, Walgreens 1954 SW Gatlin Blvd.
