Port St. Lucie man arrested on multiple child pornography charges.

On Monday, October 31, 2016, Christopher A Cremers (DOB 12/24/69, 4105 SW Fiji Lane, Port St. Lucie) turned himself into the St. Lucie County Jail after Port St. Lucie Police Detectives obtained warrants for his arrest on 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

On September 5, 2016, Port St. Lucie Police Detectives were conducting an online investigation focusing on the sharing of child pornography.  Detectives obtained information which led them to secure a search warrant for Cremers house, located in the 4100 block of SW Fiji Lane.  During the search warrant detectives seized a computer with several hard and external drives.  Forensic examination of one of the computer’s hard drive revealed over 6,600 video files.  A cursory search of the files revealed that a vast majority of the video files contained child pornography.

Based on the evidence found, detectives secured arrest warrants for Cremer on 10 counts of possession of child pornography.  The investigation in to the sharing and possession of child pornography is still ongoing as there are several hard and external drives yet to be examined.  Additional charges are expected pending the outcome of a full forensic examination of the  computer.
