HOBE SOUND AUTO BURGLARIES
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a rash of auto burglaries that happened in the Hobe Sound area. So far we have at least 9-victims whose cars were burglarized sometime between Saturday evening and this morning. Most of the cars, if not all, were unlocked.
The crimes have been reported on Quail Ridge Way, Woodwind Street, Delafield Street, Gomez and Pettway. Thieves took loose change, electronic devices and any items of value left inside the car.
If you live in that area, please check your vehicle as you may not yet realize your items have been stolen. Also, please inform your neighbors of the incidents, and keep your car doors locked.
