Pirate’s Bid Farewell to International Palms Resort Cocoa Beach

COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA JUNE 2021 – All good things must come to an end. The 10th Annual Cocoa Beach Pirate Festival returns for the final time at the International Palms Resort and Conference Center, June 11th through the 13th. The 500-room resort that has hosted the Cocoa Beach Pirate Festival since 2012, is scheduled to be torn down later this year, so we ask that you come out and enjoy the last Pirate Festival at the International Palms Resort.
The Cocoa Beach Pirate Festival is a free, family-friendly event geared up for scallywags both young and old and will feature some great live music from The Lazy Jacks, Keith Anthony Barbrie, Rusty Cutlass, and The Bawdy Boys. Some of the piratical fun includes a Treasure Hunt, Costume Contests, a Kids Fun Zone, Pirate Puppet Shows, and Water Cannon Battles with hundreds of cannonball water balloons in a 150,000-gallon Pirate themed kiddie pool.

Get ready to shop and explore the various arts and crafts, and pirate-themed vendors throughout the festival located both indoors and outdoors. There will be something for everyone including a great assortment of nautical vendors. While at the festival, you can enjoy some tasty foods and cold drinks. Little Pirates can stop by the “Pirate University” and learn firsthand from the Governess, how to become proper pirates.
Inside the airconditioned Dolphin Room, you can browse the indoor vendors and purchase event T-Shirts and pirate merchandise. On Saturday and Sunday, while watching the Magic and Tales of Lafitte, you may be asking yourself, was it sleight of hand, sorcery, or just plain magic? When inside the Dolphin room be sure to take a moment to meet world-famous Treasure Hunter, Carl Fismer and pick up some treasures for yourself. There will also be artwork on display and available for purchase from the late artist, Michael Noles, who was quite famous for his decades of work with Disney.
Keep your cameras ready, because if you are lucky, you can even meet a real mermaid. Beautiful Mermaid Layla can be found at times around the Pirate Ship Pool and she always loves to say hello to all the children.
