Pets of the Week! Adopt Liam & Stevie

Pets of the Week! Adopt Liam & Stevie

Liam is 4-year-old, Catahoula Leopard dog mix who was transferred in from another shelter that was out of space. We’ve observed that although this pup is shy at first, he tends to flourish whenever other dogs are around! He would love a home with another friendly dog that could boost his confidence and become his best bud. Liam has taken field trips to events and loved meeting new people. He would be a perfect dog for a caring family!

Stevie is a 2-year-old, female cat who was dealt a difficult hand in life and is now looking for a new start. She was a free-roaming outdoor cat, with a caregiver who loved her. Over time she lost most of her vision, and then she lost her caregiver, too. Stevie can be shy at first but transforms into total sweetheart once she gets comfortable in her new environment.  Earning the love and trust of a cat as special and deserving as Stevie is certainly a reward worth working for!

These pets and many more are available for adoption through the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast.

Locations to adopt are the HSTC Main Shelter at 4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave. in Palm City, the HSTC Thrift Store Central at 2585 SE Federal Highway in Stuart, and the HSTC Thrift Store North at 1099 NW 21st St. in Stuart.

Normal adoption hours are Monday through Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
