Person steals gun then rides home on her bike. What could go wrong?
Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- A home aide hired to help with chores around the house thought she was going to get away with stealing a revolver from her 76-year-old client, but her plan was thwarted by the observant and alert victim.
After noticing the suspect acting suspiciously inside the house and discovering his revolver missing from his bedroom, the victim immediately called 911 and provided a description of the woman. It didn’t take long for Officers to find the suspect riding a bicycle in the 600-BLK of SE Crescent Ave with the stolen firearm in her possession.
54-year-old Karen Tuomi was arrested Saturday evening and taken to the St. Lucie County Jail for grand theft of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
