Palm City Carjackers captured by MCSO
CAPTURED!
Two armed carjacking suspects were captured in Palm City. All three now in custody. were located hiding in the Four Rivers community in Palm City.
MCSO was was notified around 2:18am that a stolen vehicle with three subjects inside was headed towards Martin County.
MCSO deputies set up along I-95 at the 102 mile marker in preparation to deploy stop sticks in an effort to slow the vehicle down. At one point the driver lost control of the car and went into a ditch near the Palm City exit. One suspect was arrested on scene, but two others fled on foot.
A Code Red phone alerted residents to this public safety alert.
The two suspects were arrested about 7 hours later near Southwest Bittern Street.
