Palm Beach County murder suspect captured after high speed pursuit on I-95 in Martin County

A high-speed chase through two counties Monday morning ended with a violent crash and two people in custody, one of them a murder suspect.

This is what happened according to the Martin County Sheriff:

TWO CHARGED FOLLOWING PURSUIT OF MURDER SUSPECT ALONG I-95 THROUGH MARTIN COUNTY
Two of the three men involved in the pursuit on I-95 in Martin County were arrested.
19-year old Jamarquis Makhi Williams of Riviera Beach was taken into custody on a first degree murder warrant, and 20-year old Marquavious Shyqwan Davis of West Palm Beach was charged with three counts of fleeing and eluding, and driving with a revoked driver’s license after deputies used a vehicle intervention technique to stop the fleeing vehicle.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force alerted the Martin County Sheriff’s Office that a vehicle with a murder suspect just fled from law enforcement in their jurisdiction and was headed northbound into Martin County at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

Martin County Deputies attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver (Marquavious Davis) increased his speed and continued to flee. Deputies then conducted a VIT maneuver to stop the fleeing vehicle.

All three occupants were then ordered out of the car. They initially did not comply. Deputies released a tear gas canister inside the vehicle, which ultimately forced the suspects to come out without further incident.
Jamarquis Williams was identified as the person who had a warrant for first degree murder with a firearm. The third person in the vehicle was not charged with a crime and released.
All three occupants in the car were medically evaluated for injuries and cleared before Davis and Williams were booked into the Martin County Jail.
