Special Investigations Detectives arrested 40-year old William Ander, of Hobe Sound, on multiple charges including trafficking in Oxymorphone, possession of Alprazolam, and possession of Suboxone. The car he was driving, a 2012 Audi A4 was seized, as was more than $1,000 in cash.

Ander had in his possession a large amount of dangerous and addictive drugs, including empty syringes he intended to fill with an Oxymorphone liquid mixture. That prepared liquid can be seen in the larger syringe. The empty syringes would have been filled with that prepared liquid, and sold as convenient oxy “shots” to those who do not like to cook the pills into liquid form themselves.

The passenger in the vehicle, 27-year old David Caswell of Palm City, was arrested for outstanding warrants. Caswell was wanted on charges of sale of Heroin within 1000 feet of a church, possession of Heroin, and possession of cocaine. He was taken to the Martin County Jail without bond. William Ander’s bond is $110,000.

The latest arrests come as Martin County Sheriff’s Narcotics Detectives continues to seek out those participating in the sale and distribution of dangerous and addictive drugs harming our community.
