She will be remembered as the bright-eyed, baby doll-toting, diminutive little chimpanzee whose life can be summarized with a quote from Dr. Jane Goodall “Let us develop respect for all living things. Let us try to replace violence and intolerance with understanding and compassion. And love.” said the staff from Lion County Safari..

“Working with Little Mama was the greatest honor of my life. I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to experience special events and honestly just the day to day with her. Truly the kindest soul I think I’ve ever met or will ever meet. The world shines a little less bright without her, but it still shines. You be good Mama, I love you, and I’ll see you later” Jordan H, Chimp Keeper. #RIPLittleMama

Lion Country Safari will honor Little Mama Wednesday.
