NY Mets 2020 spring training schedule out
Port St. Lucie, Fl- The 2019 Major League Baseball season is still in full swing, but already the New York Mets have released their 2020 spring training schedule. And Port St Lucie is set to host 16 spring training games next year. The Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins will be in town on March 18th and 19th respectively. However, neither the Yankees nor the Red Sox will play in Port St Lucie this year. It’s the first time since 2014 that neither team will make an appearance here locally. First Data Field is undergoing a $57 million renovation project. Construction is expected to be wrapped up when spring training begins in late February.
Season and group tickets will go on sale Tuesday, October 8 at 10 a.m. at mets.com and StLucieMets.com or by calling 772-871-2115. Five game mini-plans will go on sale Tuesday, November 5 at 10 a.m. Individual game tickets will go on sale Saturday, December 14 at 10 a.m. at mets.com, StLucieMets.com or by calling 772-871-2115.
Due to the current renovation project at First Data Field, all orders must be placed online or over the phone.
A temporary one day box office setup will be in place for Opening Day of ticket sales on December 14.
