North Causeway Island Park Reopens

Two of the four docks and boat ramps at the North Causeway Island Park have been repaired and are now open for public use.
The docks and boat launches sustained significant damaged during Hurricane Matthew. Crews from the St. Lucie County Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department replaced the decking on the two most western docks; however, the eastern two docks remain closed as outside contractors are needed to repair that damage.
Located at 500 North Causeway Drive, the North Causeway Island Park is a popular fishing spot and boat launch with pavilions, restrooms and a fish cleaning station.
