Learn to Fish

May 8, 1:00-5:00 pm

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum is inviting children and their families to learn how to fish at the waterfront on the afternoon of Tuesday May 8, 2018. The team from Fishingcommunities.org will be on site with fishing reels and equipment to teach children of all ages and abilities how to fish as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area(JILONA). JILONA is a rare federal designation that protects the unique 120-acre property at the Lighthouse site because of its combination of historic and archaeological importance, listed plants and animal species and passive recreation use. We are marking the 10th anniversary of this milestone congressional legislation with special activities. Admission is FREE for children and $10 for adults May 8th only.
