Multiple Drivers arrested for DUI in Stuart

Stuart, Fl  (treasurecoast.com)- The Stuart Police have reported  they  have arrested multiple  people  for  DUI.
Before you get into your car after drinking and  being otherwise impaired THINK!  Your car  literally becomes a  weapon and  you can hurt  or  kill  someone.

Here is the  rest of the info from the  Stuart  Police:

**DUI ARRESTS**
Since Friday, your Stuart Police Department has made 4 arrests for Driving Under the Influence (DUI).
* Please remember to drink responsibly and do not drive under the influence of any substance that may impair your ability to drive. Find alternative transportation home, such as a rideshare service, and help keep yourself and our community safe! *
On Friday (3.3.23) at 3:28pm, officers responded to a crash involving 4 vehicles. A 73-year-old driver of one of the vehicles was arrested for DUI.
On Sunday (3.5.23) at 11:20pm, officers responded to Downtown Stuart to a report of a vehicle whose driver was making verbal threats to juveniles. After conducting a traffic stop on the reported vehicle, the 63-year-old driver was arrested for DUI.
Yesterday (3.7.23) at 12:08am, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle who was observed speeding on the Roosevelt bridge and swerving in and out of the lanes. The 32-year-old driver was arrested for DUI.
This morning (3.8.23) at 12:03am, officers observed a vehicle speeding over the Roosevelt Bridge. The 68-year-old driver was more than 2 times the legal limit and was arrested for DUI.
