Molly’s House wants to give local family caregivers a retreat!

By Kat Duesterhaus

Molly’s House wants to give local family caregivers a retreat! Caring for a loved one full time is no easy task and the stress can take years off the caregiver’s life. Which is why Molly’s House is asking local family caregivers to send us a short video saying why they need a break.

Molly’s House will select three caregivers for a four day, three-night stay at Molly’s House – a Victorian style healthcare hospitality house on Osceola Street. During their stay, their loved one is cared for by a professional home health agency.

Furthermore their stay will include pampering from local businesses, tailored for the interests and needs of each caregiver. Some of the pampering possibilities include massages, trips to the spa, and tickets to local attractions.

First, applicants must include their full legal name and the following sometime during the video.

“I, (APPLICANT’S NAME), give Molly’s House permission to use my video for promotional purposes.”

Email submissions to info@socialbutterflyagency.com, by February 23rd at noon.

Meanwhile, the Caregiver Respite Retreat program operates year-round at Molly’s House. Applications for the retreat can be submitted outside of this request at MollysHouse.org/caregiver-respite.

Molly’s House is a 501 (c) 3 not for profit organization, located in downtown Stuart. The house serves as a sanctuary to patients and their families. Molly’s House has offered shelter, serenity, and support for over 21 years and has helped over 21,000 individuals.
