MCSO traffic stop turns into drug bust

Martin County, Fla- A traffic stop turned into a drug bust in Martin County.

Deputies stopped 26-year old Delvin Schisler for running a stop sign on a stretch of Cove Road. Schisler appeared very nervous when the deputy approached. The deputies asked him and his two passengers to step out of the vehicle.

As 56-year old Belinda Alredge got out of the car, the deputy noticed what appeared to be a small piece of rock cocaine on the floor. Also in the center console, in plain view, deputies notice a glass pipe with a rock and wire inside of it. When 32-year old Meghan Ray exited the car, deputies noticed another piece of rock cocaine and glass pipe on the seat next to her. The pieces of rock found inside the car all tested positive for crack cocaine.

Schisler, Alredge, and Ray were charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia and taken to the Martin County Jail with a bond of $5,500 each. Meghan Ray was also charged with resisting an officer without violence and introduction of contraband into a correctional facility which brought her bond to $8,500.0
