MCSO SHUTS DOWN SUSPECTED DRUG HOUSE ON “PARADISE PLACE”, GIVING A LITTLE PARADISE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
Residents on Paradise Place in Stuart complained, and our Special Investigations Section detectives investigated, then responded…..with a search warrant. Four people were arrested and the “paradise pill problem” has halted.
Last week MCSO Special Investigations Detectives executed a search warrant at 202 SE Paradise Place in Stuart. The investigation was in response to numerous complaints and credible information received regarding trafficking and sales of the dangerous and addictive drug Oxymorphone or (Opana) taking place at the house. Investigators also received tips about prostitution originating from that residence.
MCSO SHUTS DOWN SUSPECTED DRUG HOUSE ON “PARADISE PLACE”
The target of the investigation, 73-year old John Edwin Nail, was arrested for Trafficking in Oxymorphone and Possession of Oxycodone. During the search warrant, Nail was in possession of 71 Oxymorphone pills (approximately 15.6 grams), which is above the statutory threshold for the 15-year minimum-mandatory of 14-grams or more. Detectives also found Oxycodone pills. The street value of the pills recovered is $5,090. Earlier this year, MCSO Special Investigations Detectives arrested Nail’s son Gregory for Trafficking in Oxymorphone.

27-year old Kory Talon Marshall of Palm City: Possession of Oxymorphone, Possession of Controlled Substance Without Valid Prescription, Introduction of Contraband into Correctional Facility, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
