“CAN YOU IDENTIFY? SUSPECT WHO BREAKS INTO RESTAURANTS AND MAKES HIMSELF A SNACK, WALKS OUT WITH MORE THAN JUST A FULL BELLY
A suspect coined as the modern day Hamburglar doesn’t appear to have any problem making himself right at home after breaking into local food establishments to make himself a burger. The suspect has been successful at forcing his way into two restaurants cooking himself some dinner—then stealing what he can’t consume. The suspect used a brick to smash in a door at the Wendy’s on Jensen Beach Boulevard. Once in, he started the grill, ate and left the with safe. He also burglarized a restaurant in downtown Jensen Beach. He attempted to do the same at a full service gas station, but could not gain entry.
The suspect has a distinctive tattoo on his left upper arm. He is described as a heavy-set white male, believed to be in his mid 30’s, with facial hair and is approximately 6 ft. tall. He was wearing a tan ball cap, black tank top, khaki colored shorts, and flip flops. If you can identify this person, please call the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.”
