MCSO remove 11 horses and one donkey from pasture in Indiantown

MCSO remove 11 horses and one donkey from pasture in Indiantown.

The owner has voluntarily surrendered 11 horses and one donkey. The pasture is on SW Amaryliss Avenue, and SW Arrowroot Street in Indiantown.

The animals are said to be in poor condition. The horses and donkey will be taken to ERAF (Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation) in Palm City.  They will be evaluated and nursed back to health. For information about the horses and how you can help, contact ERAF at 772-341-2122.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office will continue to investigate this case.

The owner is cooperating with law enforcement at this time, but detectives will work with the State Attorney’s Office to pursue possible charges.
