MCSO Manhunt turns up Burglar tools and arrests

EARLY MORNING MANHUNT OF TWO MIAMI DADE MEN YIELDS BURGLARY TOOLS, ARRESTS, AND LAUNDRY LIST OF POOR EXCUSES

Its mom’s car, they were lost. They ran from deputies because they were scared, and the ski mask and burglary tools inside the vehicle were there because…..you guessed it, they have animals. (We had the same reaction) That’s the story 25-year old Fredy De Alejo gave deputies after he and 33-year old Lisbel Murillo were arrested early this morning.

The pair, both from Hialeah, were spotted by midnight shift deputies outside Treasure Coast Commerce Center.  When deputies approached the men, they took off on foot and ran into the woods. Deputies locked down a perimeter and MCSO Air 1 began searching from the sky. A short time later, Air 1 directed ground units right to the suspects.

When questioned, Fredy De Alejo failed to mention that he had been arrested in the past. That was for armed robbery and kidnapping. He also forgot about  BOLO for loitering. Then there was  prowling out of Coral Springs, he claimed he knew nothing about. The ski mask, bolt cutters, binoculars and other tools found inside the car, he said were there because he has animals. He did not elaborate. Fortunately none of the businesses were burglarized. Murillo and De Alejo were arrested and charged with Loitering and Prowling, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Resisting Arrest.
