Martin Sheriff update re 2  bodies found in Indiantown Pond

Indiantown. Fl (treasurecoast.com)- Here is an update from the Martin Sheriff regarding the two bodies that were found yesterday in a pond in Indiantown near the Marina.

Here’s the info!

Martin County Sheriff’s Office Detectives, with the assistance of Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission and Martin County Fire Rescue, were able to locate a vehicle in a pond where 2 individuals were found Monday morning at the intersection of SW Warfield Boulevard and SW Indiantown Avenue.
The vehicle was located by using sonar equipment provided by Florida Fish and Wildlife. Once detectives were able to determine there was a vehicle in the pond, Martin County Fire Rescue sent in their dive team. MCFR Dive Team located the vehicle and assisted Kauff’s towing in removing it from the pond.
Both occupants of the vehicle have been identified and we are awaiting the notification of next of kin.
This case will be investigated by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Investigators.
We are thankful for the assistance from our partners at Florida Fish and Wildlife and Martin County Fire Rescue for providing their expertise during this investigation.
