Martin Sheriff & Firefighters help save woman and her car in a pond

Martin County, Fl (TreasureCoast.com)- Martin County Fire is reporting that both the Sheriff’s Office and the Fire Department were present to help save a woman when her carr ended up in a pond.

Here is the information:
WATER RESCUE: A team effort between the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and Martin County Fire Rescue helped get a woman and her car out of pond in #Stuart this evening.
Our crews got a call around 5 pm that a vehicle was submerged near the Willoughby Glen community entrance with 1 occupant still inside.

Meanwhile, a quick acting Martin County Sheriff’s #Deputy dove into the water, rescuing the female driver, and pulling her to #safety.

Our crews arrived, and while our ambulance unit transported her to a local #hospital, our Special Ops Dive Team helped the tow truck get her vehicle out.
Thankfully, there were no injuries, and the woman is expected to be okay.
