Martin County Sheriff removes agitated gator in Palm City
MCSO HELPS REMOVE WAYWARD GATOR ATTEMPTING TO SEEK REFUGE IN PRIVATE COMMUNITY GUARD SHACK
Martin County, Fl- Guards working midnight shift at Monarch Country Club had an unexpected guest that refused to leave.
The 8-foot gator became agitated when he couldn’t access the guard shack. The guards were alerted to the creeping gator when he hit the glass door.
Martin County Sheriff’s Deputy Mark Appler worked with professional gator trapper John Davidson to trap and remove the uncooperative reptile.
Experts note that as rain causes ponds and canals to rise, you are likely to see more gators and snakes in unusual areas.
The MCSO asks you to keep your eyes open. Remember to keep children and pets away from canals and lakes.
