Martin County Sheriff: Dumped Dogs case update

Martin County, Fl (Treasurecoast.com)- The Martin County Sheriff has given an update in the dumped dog case.

Here is the info:
An update to our prior post, a passing motorist was able to capture a fourth abandoned dog and bring her to safety.
Animal Services Officers are working to rescue a fifth. As we said in our prior post, we are not releasing the location out of concern for YOUR safety. We know you want to help search, but the area where the dogs were dumped pose many safety challenges. Our Animal Service Officers remain dedicated to doing everything they can to complete the rescue.
As for the condition of the three rescued dogs: They took long naps and are rested, they have eaten and are doing well thanks to the dedicated people at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. We will update as information becomes available.
We thank all of you for your continued support.
