MARTIN COUNTY DEPUTIES CAPTURE BOX TRUCK THIEF FOLLOWING MANHUNT ON I-95
A 29-minute manhunt on I-95 near the Hobe Sound exit landed a suspected truck thief behind bars.
The hunt began after a Trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol began following what he believed to be a stolen truck.
At one point the driver of that truck jumped out and took off on foot. The suspect attempted to hide in a wooded area near the Bridge Road exit.
Martin County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to assist Florida Highway Patrol. Deputies and Troopers set up a perimeter near the area and located the suspect on the highway near Bridge Road. He was taken into custody.
