Martin County Sheriff’s Deputies are actively searching for two of three suspects involved in an early morning armed carjacking and crash. It started in Palm Beach County and ended in Palm City.

MCSO was notified around 2:18am that a stolen vehicle with three subjects inside was headed towards Martin County. The suspects were said to have committed an armed carjacking and were headed north moving at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

MCSO deputies set up along I-95 at the 102 mile marker in preparation to deploy stop sticks in an effort to slow the vehicle down. At one point the driver lost control of the car and went into a ditch near the Palm City exit. One suspect was arrested on scene, but two others fled on foot and are currently on the run.
