Man with suspended license & illegal substances slams into back of unmarked MCSO patrol vehicle then flees

Martin County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Martin County Sheriff’s office has reported that a man with a suspended license & illegal substances slams into the back of unmarked MCSO patrol vehicle then fled.

This is what they said:

SEBASTIAN’S LUCKY DAY
This is 32-year old Sebastian Thibodeau. Although you’re not supposed to drive with a suspended driver’s license and illegal substances in your car, Sebastian did. So when he crashed into the back of another vehicle while driving on Martin Highway this morning, Sebastian fled the scene, even though he was supposed to stop.
Lucky for Sebastian though, the car he crashed into was an unmarked MCSO patrol vehicle. Even luckier for Sebastian, the person driving that vehicle was MCSO’s Special Investigations Lieutenant Tommy Smith. For those of you who don’t know Lt. Smith, he is a seasoned investigator with a long successful career in law enforcement. His specialty…catching fleeing criminals. Who knew? Certainly not Sebastian. The good news is, he knows now.
Sebastian Thibodeau was charged with fleeing and eluding, leaving the scene of a crash with injury, operating with a suspended license, and possession. His bond is $20,000.
