Man run over while he attacks his girlfriend in Port St Lucie
Port St Lucie, Fla- According to the PLDPD, a man attacked his girlfriend while she was trying to leave his driveway. He then slipped and his legs went under the car as it was backing out.
On January 23, 2018 at around 11:50 am, Port St. Lucie Police went to the 400 block of SE Starfish for reports that a man, 24 year old Malcolm Jamal Leste, was just run over by a car.
Once on scene the police found Lester laying on the ground with abrasions to his legs. Police also found Lester’s girlfriend and the driver of the car still at the scene.
Investigation revealed that Lester and the 21 year old female victim were having an argument in the driveway of her home. The victim told police that she got into her car to leave when Lester attacked her. The victim tried to drive away when Lester grabbed on to her. Lester then slipped under the car and she ran over his legs.
Mr Lester was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for the injuries to his legs. He was then arrested for battery and transported to the St. Lucie County Jail for booking.
