Man robs woman then runs into Police.
On April 10, 2017 Port St. Lucie Police arrested Brian K Siemienski. The charges are robbery no firearm or weapon, burglary with assault, and possession of controlled substance without a prescription after he grabbed the victims purse while she was sitting in her car.
Port St. Lucie Police went to the Denny’s Restaurant located in the 10000 block of South US Highway 1 for reports of a strong-armed robbery. This was at around 3:00 PM. Police were told that an employee of Denny’s was sitting in her car due to the business being closed for routine cleaning. Siemienski approached her. The victim asked if she could help him when he replied “yeah this” then he opened her car door and grabbed her purse. The victim struggled with Siemienski over the purse. The purse handle broke off.
During this time the bug man pulled up to the scene and witnessed the struggle. Siemienski saw the bug man. Then he fled the area on foot carrying the broken purse strap and the victim’s apron. The bug man pursued Siemienski on foot as he fled across US 1 into a closed plaza. Police arrived on scene. Siemienski ran right into the arms of an on-duty Police Sergeant who placed him under arrest.
During a search of Siemienski police located 6 Suboxone films. Suboxone is a schedule 3 narcotic. Siemienski did not have a prescription for the drug. Police later located the purse strap and apron near where the arrest was made.
Siemienski was taken to the St. Lucie County Jail for booking.
