Thursday morning Stuart Police went to the residence of John Steven Bucherie to serve a revocation of bond order for a charge of contempt of court.
As officers attempted to make contact with Bucherie, he decided to barricade himself inside. After “encouraging” Bucherie to come to the door, officers decided that they would make entry so they could meet Bucherie face to face.
He was taken to the Martin County Jail and held without bond.
He also earned an additional charge of resisting arrest without violence.
