Man arrested for 12-year-old sexual assault in Michigan
St. Lucie County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)-The St.Lucie Sheriff reported that a man arrested for 12-year-old sexual assault in Michigan.
This is what they said:
Today, detectives from the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and the Port St. Lucie Police Department assisted SAKI (Sexual Assault Kit Initiative) investigators from the Kalamazoo County, Michigan, prosecutor’s office in the arrest of Cameron James Alvarez, 32, of Port St. Lucie.
The suspect in a 2010 sexual assault cold case, Alvarez was arrested within the 2100 block of SW Vista Road in Port St. Lucie on a felony warrant on two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Alvarez was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail without bond and is awaiting extradition to Michigan.
