On December 31, 2016, the victim notified PBSO about the disappearance of a black bull from his herd.  A Palm Beach County Sheriff Office Detective assigned to the Agriculture Unit began an investigation into the disappearance of the bull.   She located what appeared to be the leg from the bull. This was located outside the victims fence line along with additional paraphernalia.  Further investigation determined Dylan Back to be a suspect.
