Jupiter Police on scene after shots fired on Cherokee St

Jupiter, FL- The Jupiter Police Department are on scene at Cherokee St. after receiving a call that shots  were “fired.

At this time there are no reported injuries.

This morning at approximately 3:30 a.m., Jupiter Police Department Officers responded to the 1100 block of Cherokee Street in reference to possible gunshots heard in the area.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that gunshots were fired in the area. As a result, a residence in the 1100 block of Cherokee Street was struck. No one in the residence was injured from the gunshots that were fired.

The incident is currently under investigation, and at this time, this appears to be an isolated incident.
